It seems most companies have told their H-1B employees to not leave the country and to return immediately. So likely many thousands of people scrambling to get back to the US right now.

A social media account tied to Trump but not actually his recently indicated that the fee does not apply to current visa holders even though the EO says it does and there has been no official guidance. So CBP I assume would be left to decide things which isn't a spot anybody wants to be in.

While i hate trump and he has so far escape conviction of serious crimes; the 34 count of felony was relatively speaking just one minor crime - was a bit surprise it was a felony given the $$ involved and the fact that no actual money was lost on either side (i.e, he was covering up an embarrassing episode via paper-work. Don't get me wrong he has committed very real and serious crimes and should be in jail pretty much forever but unfortunately the corrupt system failed to prosecute him.

I have zero issues with us invading Afghanistan. I have issues with trying to change a government to the one we want. That's for the citizens to choose.

it really does poo-poo all the nonsense conspiracies about the hidden elite assassinating JFK or whoever, when here you have the absolute obvious target for any such powerful industry absolutely destroying their livelihoods, all just sitting back and doing nothing about it, even though they know there would be very little consequences against them for taking out someone that pretty much all of them agree needs to go. As well as how completely unpopular and dangerous this shitwagon is. You'd probably have 50% of Congress doing crocodile tears, and at least 15% of republicans silently relieved.
