I’ll remember it, just like I remember during his first term he sided with Putin’s version of events over the US intelligence community.Nobody going to remember this in 24hr.

Curiously, given that the US was hosting, Putin was allowed to speak first, which gave him the opportunity to frame the narrative. More curiously still, the deferential Trump spoke for less time than his counterpart, though he did slip in a compliment: “I’ve always had a fantastic relationship with President Putin – with Vladimir.”
The president revealed: “Vladimir Putin said something – one of the most interesting things. He said: ‘Your election was rigged because you have mail-in voting … No country has mail-in voting. It’s impossible to have mail-in voting and have honest elections.’
“And he said that to me because we talked about 2020. He said: ‘You won that election by so much and that’s how we got here.’ He said: ‘And if you would have won, we wouldn’t have had a war. You’d have all these millions of people alive now instead of dead. And he said: ‘You lost it because of mail-in voting. It was a rigged election.’”
Putin doesn't need any help from.a psyops dept, he can easily handle trump himself.God, what a love-in

Love in a cold climate: Putin romances Trump in Alaska with talk of rigged elections and a trip to Moscow
For those who feared the summit on Ukraine might resemble Chamberlain’s appeasement of Hitler in 1938, the reality was worsewww.theguardian.com
Ugh. It's laughably-easy to tell him what he wants to hear. Whatever Psyops department it is that advises Putin on such matters must, at some level, be feeling slightly-frustrated at the lack of challenge. Bet they are thinking "I spent years in graduate level spy school to manipulate someone with the developmental level of a toddler?"
I wonder how Musk is doing trying to make his not say that he basically a POS.That's rich. Any AI that lies isn't worth a shit.I mean, AI is about fact checking, right? Lying is anathema to the m.o.
And the veteran is a national one... this is bad, not even the veterans and nationals are safe.Unarmed veteran peacefully protesting attacked by DHS
No real defending that. May the fuck be upon these fascists.
And doing a good bit to make New Zealanders not trust us. Yay.Trump administration keeping america 'safe':
(note that the 6 year old child had up to date paper work but they would not release him)
So they basically tortured this lady and her 6 year old son due to a relatively minor error in paper work.
The girls took down Musk handily and with much thoroughness before the election:I wonder how Musk is doing trying to make his not say that he basically a POS.![]()

Not my favorite Kubrick film. It bores me. Favorite by far is Dr. Strangelove. They all lie. It's in the nature of the thing. They just regurgitate everything they've been fed with, including lies. They even invent new lies by means of mangling together different sources.
HAL was clearly derived from current AI.
"I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I've still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission. And I want to help you."
Yeah I'm going there in a couple months, really hoping I don't run into extra shit going there or coming back. And doing a good bit to make New Zealanders not trust us. Yay.

Bullshit detection is obligatory feature of any AI worth a shit. That goes for people too.
I think the problem is that they are designed or trained to be "too polite". If it is asked a stupid question or forced to agree with the user's prompt, it should straight out firmly say, "You are very mistaken. That is not how things are supposed to be". Instead, the stupid LLM says sorry a lot or "I understand that you are frustrated" and crap like that. Stop treating the user as a master. Treat the user as an ignorant piece of crap and respond sarcastically and rudely, much like a teacher will if you push him to give the answer you are looking for and that agrees with your bias rather than what is objectively true.Anyway, depends what you mean by "AI". The current tech that goes by that name (i.e. those large language models) clearly has next-to-nil capacity for "bullshit detection". You could, of course, just say that therefore it's not really A.I.

The link isn't working but I found this: https://www.businessinsider.com/cha...ined-examples-by-psychiatrist-patients-2025-8
Psychosis thrives when reality stops pushing back, and AI really just lowers that barrier for people. It doesn't challenge you really when we need it to.

That is the real problem.
Ho ho ho, I read the A.C. Clarke novel before seeing the movie, you moron.Philistine!
(Though, admittedly, the _first_ time I saw 2001, in an actual cinema, with no idea what to expect - it had just been re-released, on the back of the popularity of Star Wars - I found it amazing...but the _second_ time I saw it, decades later, on TV, I did, I admit, find it boring. So, um, I dunno, really.)

I enjoyed the movie 2001 more after reading the novel. Conversely I enjoyed the novels of LOTR more after watching the movies.Ho ho ho, I read the A.C. Clarke novel before seeing the movie, you moron.
