Yes, there was a ton of that when the IRA/Infra bills passed. So ok then I want legislation passed only to benefit Democratic voting areas and everybody else can get what they want (no $). Start chopping out other evil federal dollars too like farm subsidies in all forms for those same places. Cancel the ethanol mandate. Lock ranchers out of government grazing lands unless they pay a market rate.
Just following Trumps lead. All grants have to be approved by appointed officials.

If it was a normal administration, I feel like Nvidia might be forced to do something about this by the US government. Instead, we have an administration that welcomes scammers and cheats, and sucks at doing the basics of their jobs, so I doubt Nvidia will face any repercussions for turning a blind eye to export ban violations.

It sounds like they fired the IRS head because he refused to break the law. In any other administration, it would be impeachment. Under Trump, it's a day ending in "y" and congressional Republicans playing dumb. Maybe it was for other reasons - who really knows given the fact that the White House lies about everything.
Also, I'm pretty sure no one gets "promoted" to an ambassadorship. That's what you do when you want to move you out of the way.
The embarrassing thing about this is, that I can somewhat identify with it. Not the obsession with 'gold', specifically (which seems like one of many ways in which he resembles a Bond villain), but the compulsiveness involved in squeezing these gold motifs into every available space, and the inability to know when to stop.
I find it disconcerting how much I can emphathise with that mentality, that looks at every empty space and thinks "hmmm, I could fit another bit of [whatever it is I'm being obsessive about] in there". (And then the thought nags at you till you give in to it)
I've done pretty-much the same with houseplants, for example, when I had vast numbers of them. Or with high-viz and lights on my bike (at one point had it covered in electroluminescent wire, looking like something out of Tron), or LEDs in my PC set-up.
Of course I wasn't doing it to government-owned property at taxpayer's expense.

IMO - Dems in every need to draw up plans as a trigger. Ready to fire soon as the first red state gerrymanders. At the same time re-offer up the Democrats HR-1 which put an end to gerrymandering nationwide.
Show people Democrats want to improve the system not just amass power.
Most red states already have extreme gerrymandering - just look at tennessee, lousiana, texas and a few more. However they now want to get even more extreme and 'rebalance' things just before each election.
They don't want election anymore, a coup is pretty much possible now to erradicate the current constitution and implement a new one.

This guy (whose niece Mary asserts "has no redeeming qualities") wants his head on Mt. Rushmore and a Nobel Prize, credit for stopping the Russian war to annex Ukraine and the Israel Gaza mess.
Meantime he's bribed a middle eastern nation for an airliner that he intends to keep for himself. His son-in-law has garnered 2 billion dollars from the Saudis for who knows what? He's put a branding iron to the throat of the governor of Texas to get 5 more House seats for Republicans via gerrymandering.
I wonder if the State of New York is going to go after him for his 34 felonies once he's booted out of the White House.

Imagine the abject horror if Biden and AOC asked oil companies to put a scaled % of their profits (fluctuating with the price of oil) into a fund for the Green New Deal.
Oh well, it seems we now have a precedent for that.

Nah, it's only precedent for Republican actions. Democrats will still be blocked for reasons thanks to the rank partisanship of SCOTUS, at least until they neuter that.
They can't they already sentenced him; anyway that crime was pretty minor compared to the real criminal shit he has done.
