calls an example of happy people in a densely populated area a strawman (it’s not lol), then proceeds to argue against a strawman he made. lol, critical thinking needs to be taught in schools every day so we have less fdc’s

Cities are more "population efficient" thanks to density.
Is it easier to provide services for a million people spread out over 15,000 square miles or 150 square miles?

And if you want to limit population growth, the best way to do that is to increase peoples wealth (along with easy and affordable access to contraception)

A lesser population might actually be more well off.. and I'm referring to European countries where the living standards are far better than our American ones.. especially healthcare which I truly care about.

Vs say a large population where the resources are spread way too thin.. like ours or worse off like China, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Pakistan etc where you're in danger of not even having enough vaccines for polio even though the demand is there.

Without any sense of irony whatsoever, the right wing AND conspiracy echo chambers have hijacked this. They use COVID as an example.

They label science as "group think." They label "woke" as group think.

Even the flat earthers have hijacked this. As have the antivaxxers. Rather than make them question the cult they are in, this video reinforces their belief they are correct simply because they are a minority opinion and "authority" holds the opposite opinion.

At least the anti-vaxers are getting measles and soon probably small pox among others. The only sad part about it is that it is the innocent kids who suffer and not the nasty ignorant parents.

The parents will have to live knowing that god hates them for allowing their children to suffer and die from preventable diseases, and that they’re going to hell.

You can blame the gaza bros and pro migration crowd for that. Unlike Squishy who flails and blames everyone, I blame those 2 things for our election loss.

And considering no one is happy under Trump.. EVERYONE NEEDS THERAPY if we somehow survive these next 4 years.

It should be noted that somehow, trump's approval ratings are up and close to 50%

Yeah that's what @nakedfrog doesn't seem to understand that I'm just pointing things out.. not joining the MAGA crowd and fighting Greenman and RedSquirrel for MOST VALUABLE PRIMATE.

I want dems to win.. but they're going to adapt and take on some new positions that're actually popular vs just ethically right.

Do I like it? No but I'd like a victory in the election and dem control a whole lot more than arguing with you all on this forum over what the mistakes were that led us all into this mess.
