I think part of it is deliberate trolling of a sort. They know they're lying and they know we know they are lying. They like to show people that they don't give a shit.

For anyone wondering, working 110 hours a week would be nearly 16 hour days, 7 days a week. That's how much work Marshall is claiming he'll do, and that Trump works even more than that.

I won't hear of such blasphemy! He's such a relentlessly dedicated public servant that he's mastered the art of lucid dreaming, and continues working for the betterment of America even in his sleep! Why, I understand that due to lack of distraction from external sources, he's working even harder for the American people when he's sleeping! This, of course, is why you've begun to see him sleep during meetings, so he can work more efficiently and derive solutions like you've never seen before while also maintaining that grand visage we're all so fond of. I wouldn't at all be surprised to find out that due to this powerful method, he's really working closer to 190 hours per week!

Yeah, it's not a sustainable amount of effort. At least not one where you're worth anything after like 60-70.

For now, district-level judges have been, shall we say, more polite or veiled in their criticisms. If SCOTUS keeps calling them dumb poopyheads and playing a game of "wrong rock", eventually they're just going to be openly hostile.
 
So i heard this on NPR and verified it is correct - in typical trump way the so called peace treaty signed yesterday between Rwanda and Congo was actually signed back in June AND has been totally ineffective. Yet now 6 months later Trump has them fly in (because he is too lazy to get off the couch) and resigned the same deal - guess where - the renamed U.S. institue of peace - renamed to you guess it the Donald J. Trump institute of peace. That's right the ineffective faked peace treaty was signed in the fake Donald Trump institute of peace likely because all things associated with shitface Donald Trump are fake.
 
Not going to post a link because the entire fucking document is pretty sad but basically the Trump administration new security policy blame Europe for failed peace process with Russia, talks about subverting Europe and complains that Europe is being diluted by non-european immigrants who might not be aligned with USA. There is more but it only goes downhill from there.
