THIS is the issue; they have no clue who was on the boat; they didn't bother to intercept or check or verify. They simply blew it up and made vague claims.

Anyway the drug problem in USA isn't the cartel it is the damn buyers.
The drug problem in the USA is that prohibition does not appear to be a successful policy.

There are other approaches than prohibition... it won't eliminate buyers but could reduce them by quite a bit.

IDK, maybe because I read your posts?

Who is doing the identifying the boat as a cartel boat?

Who said I trust their word? Lots of claims by the current regime.

"Earlier this morning, on my Orders, U.S. Military Forces conducted a kinetic strike against positively identified Tren de Aragua Narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility. TDA is a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, operating under the control of Nicolas Maduro, responsible for mass murder, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, and acts of violence and terror across the United States and Western Hemisphere,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social."

Maybe I’m missing something but I think @Brovane was responding to this post about Obama:

In reference to this story:

I thought he was differentiating between the two situations by rhetorically asking about there being an American in the Venezuelan situation but maybe there was some insinuation about terrorists in both situations?

Brovane?

Exactly. Unfortunately US Administrations have been way to quick to pull the trigger on these types of strikes. No wonder we don't want to be part of the international court.

I just saw Dr Oz discovered some shame, is now calling for Capt Brain Worm to resign.

Red states seem to be just demanding to bring measles back. Unreal. Look at Florida trying to role back all mandatory vaccines. Yeah sounds about right for Florida. That sadist Ladapo just refuses to understand the concept of contagion, he's as brimming with bullshit as DeSantis is.

Do you nat-cs not realize that infant mortality will affect your pedo child bride prospects?

Obama had a long track record of drone strikes.
Which was questionable at best, WITH long standing (and abused) Congressional approval for a bloody war on terror following 9-11.
Now we skip the part where we are attacked. We skip Congress authorizing a war. We skip long tracked and surveyed specifics on who qualifies as a terrorist combatant and killed.
The REASONS for such action, and WHO is being targeted are being reduced to the whim of one tyrant. Sic Semper Tyrannis.

A state almost entirely built in a swamp decides not to believe in vaccines. I'm sure it will work out fine!

The measles out-break in texas taught them this is an effective way to kill children. And the common sense on why all kids should be vaccinated when attending school is beyond them. Oh well hopefully this will be the beginning of the end to the 'ol saying the stupid die young.

This whole situation does my head in, really. First it was the right, neo-liberal and pro-globalisation, who derided the idea of protectionism or tariffs...and parts of the left who (often rather half-heartedly) suggested that maybe such measures weren't always entirely bad (I remember wondering about that myself, back in the early '90s...without much conviction, but still, wondering if maybe sometimes they made sense, especially given how the US itself employed such measures before it achieved economic dominance - in fact most of the world's major economic powers didn't get that way by following the principles of comparative advantage and free trade from the get go).

Then the left gave up and admitted intellectual defeat on the topic...only for the right to then soon decide protectionism and tariffs were the way to go after all. It's downright disorienting.

A quote from a current legislator in the Senate:

“I think this is the most dangerous period since before world war two. There’s certain similarities right now to the 30s,” he said.

Instead of focusing on the blatant unconstitutional actions of the syphilitic dictator wanna be. Just another distraction technique by a GQP dark wizard.

Trump’s second presidency is ‘most dangerous period’ since second world war, Mitch McConnell says | Mitch McConnell | The Guardian
I can't believe that turtle-headed buffoon seems so oblivious to his own role in all of this.

McConnell could have killed Trump politically if he had wanted to - he chose not to.

So hey Mitch, I don't disagree, but it's your fucking fault.
