It won't be so easy to ignore. States can refuse to put him on the ballot for primaries or the general and with excellent reasoning and cause. You think the Supremes will rule in his favor on that one? Hah.

And that will lose based on the same result as the CO 14th case. SCOTUS has already ruled that the states cannot enforce. It's up to congress to do so.

I dont think many people really see whats coming our way, as if relying on norms or precedence will save our democracy
There are two aspects that are important:

1) It's good to appeal to norms and how things should be (eg, codes of conduct, what laws actually say, trying to shame wrong-doers, etc) - these are normal things in society, and it's still good to try and appeal to those things instead of throwing it all out the window in a fit of nihilism
2) However, you also have to accept the reality that if one side is cheating all the time, you can't just cling harder to norms. You also have to escalate until they agree to abide by a new set of rules, and you can't set new rules if you don't have political power

Stable genius wanted to break up Nvidia, even though he'd never heard of it before. https://www.tomshardware.com/tech-i...e-hell-is-nvidia-ive-never-heard-of-it-before

It's (potentially) a reference to 'the 14 words'.

Don’t forget “‘H’eil ‘H’itler” with the capitalized Hs.

Look, I get that there’s a 90% chance that whomever is in charge of DHS Social Media is not a serious person and is basically rage baiting the libs.

But then ask yourself,
a) Why does this Administration employ so many unserious people?
b) Is a 10% risk of Nazis running the DHS (which incidentally runs ICE like a gestapo with zero accountability and a larger budget than most modern militaries) an acceptable risk?

Because anyone remotely serious would defuse to do what he is asking. He learned this in his first term.

Or even the law, but norms do have weight. TBH, I'll be surprised if it's DJT with his hand on a bible at the White House on Jan. 20, 2029. He'll be gritting his teeth as he leaves, growling, on his flight to FA. That is if he's healthy enough and makes it through his term.

Here's Schiff wrapping up Trump's swinging a wrecking ball at our nation's stability, security and reputation in a tidy yet compendious nut shell:

And while I'm at it, the deals Trump's been making to enrich himself and crime family:

Well... I'd give Adam Sciff a b+ as a speaker but alas it will bounce off useless maga who is still complaining about the Biden 'crime' family.

The admin keeps talking about Trump's historic poll numbers. I guess historically bad is probably accurate.

37% approval. Only 29% of Indies approve.

Six months into his second term, President Donald Trump’s job approval rating has dipped to 37%, the lowest of this term and just slightly higher than his all-time worst rating of 34% at the end of his first term. Trump’s rating has fallen 10 percentage points among U.S. adults since he began his second term in January, including a 17-point decline among independents, to 29%, matching his lowest rating with that group in either of his terms

Absolute dogshit polling on issues:

Trump denies disaster relief to Maryland for flooding. Guess it’s a 2-fer for Trump.

Blue state and black Mayor

Ironically those are deeply red counties in western Maryland.

To the rest of us, it is not surprising that trump once again fucked over the people that voted for him

Getting what they voted for, except now there is no one in the administration to point out to Trump that Trump voters live there to induce signing off on FEMA money.
