I watched about half a season of Weeds, and Orange is the New Black is much better. I'm already 11 episodes in. Funny stuff

My girlfriend has been watching a lot of this. From the few times I've walked through the episode I've seen a lot of boobies 😀.

I just finished the last episode last night.

I have never enjoyed train-wreck comedies - until this one. Though it's not really that much of a comedy, so maybe that makes the difference. Train wreck x infinity.

We watched few episodes so far. It's ok. You typical "anything goes/bunch of crazy shit" theme that's in just about every show on TV.

we will probably keep watching.......why not.

Just started this with my wife earlier today...we ended up watching the first 5 episodes. We really like it! Good stuff 🙂

Not terrible.

That isn't a compliment.

My favorite character is the mustached rapist, but I didn't start watching until like episode 7.

I just finished the entire first season. It was bloody awesome.

It's the best show I've seen in a very long time, and that includes some of my recent faves like Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey.

Yeah, we're really enjoying it. Glad it was already renewed. Hopefully we'll finish up this week.

You know one thing that I don't really get about these Netflix series though, why do they have the intros? It's just terrible, especially if you're trying to watch two back to back. And they're just so long.

Ideally, Netflix would play the intro on the first episode you watched and, when you finished, would know if the next one was being played right afterwards and then cut the intro.

It can't be for the DVD release, because you have the same issue there. The only thought would be that it might be for syndication, but the show's going to need so much work to be shown anywhere else, that they could just cut the intro in on the episodes they'd send out for syndication.

Yes, yes... Intros are too long and annoying, first world problems.

that episode was hilarious.

"you can't tell black people about a chicken."
"Why? Because black people love fried chicken?"
"Don't be racist! Because they're all on heroin."

Hehe, that's what I was thinking. However, you can simply skip it. That's what I did.

Luckily, for some syndicated markets, language and boobs are not a major issue.

We in Canada still have the US influence for puritanism on TV though. On the bigger networks here, there is little profanity or nudity, but CityTV is trying to be a little more open, although sometimes it's weirdly implemented. For example, I remember watching a Samuel L. Jackson movie where he said "motherfucker" a lot. On CityTV after 9 pm, they blanked it out so it was "------fucker". This selective editing actually almost made the movie more funny.

Netflix's skipping doesn't work very well, especially on devices where you use a remote. By the time I start the skipping and end up where I want to be and the stream rebuffers, I really might as well have waited the whole minute.

worked very well/easily for me. every episode has the same title card frame that you can stop on which is perfectly timed right before the show starts
