This seemed to be "the" chip to have for quite a while one these boards. Tempting, but I'd have to do a whole system overhaul to use it. As I'm building from scratch I'll probably just go with a C2D.

Opteron's cache is twice as big though.
Now I see that newegg has Crucial 1GB stick for $43 AR.
It gets me thinking about this deal again.
