far more efficient to nuke from orbit any military and industrial targets, and then swoop in for the harvest. then again, if the reapers were half as smart as they were made out to be, organics wouldn't stand a chance.

-Why even bother with that. Should just drop some heavy duty indoctrination devices everywhere. Reaper armor/shields are clearly durable enough to withstand whatever punishment is being thrown at it until everyone around is their bumbling slaves. They can have their cake and eat it too...

i always wondered why Shep and his team were never indoctrinated even though they spent enough time close to sovereign to start the process. never even mentioned of hearing voices

It's because Bioware doesn't know how to write a good villain...biggest piece of evidence being the ending of ME3.

-I always felt they had some really awesome opportunities to layer on the effect of simply being around a reaper by putting a low whispering track in the background, and potentially even some hallucinations. Maybe your teammates start saying each others lines or freaking out SOMETHING to signify the presence of a god machine. I was practically expecting it when inside the dead reaper during the second game but I guess not...

Guess Shep's just that badass or something. Has his/her own indoctrination field.
