Those bollards are special :^D I wonder what the idea was there.

Encountered a lane exactly like that myself. Cycle lane entirely full of bollards for its entire length (only in this case they were large metal things, not those pole types). I gather, from what someone explained, it was because it was on a bridge, and they wanted to deter motorists from parking in the cycle lane as the weight of the parked cars could threaten the bridge. So the solution was to completely fill the cycle lane with obstacles.

I think the better way to handle that would be to put them right on the white line. Makes it a little cramped for bikes and cars, but everyone can still pass, and it discourages parking.

Those vehicles don’t pay the road taxes via gas axes or licensing taxes to support the costs of the roadways.
Those taxes don't cover the costs now, so that is kind of meaningless. But sure, let's fix it and have people pay gas taxes and vehicle registrations proportional to the road damage. Scooters and bikes will pay a few bucks, and egowagons will pay hundreds to thousands more since road damage is proportional to vehicle weight to the 4th power.

There's a least one book someone got out of the topic

Looks like the similar kind of crap they did here lol

There's even areas where the bike lanes don't even hug the sidewalk anymore, they just randomly go right into the traffic, so you have car traffic on both sides.

I would think those pics were photoshopped, wow it's multiple steps beyond bad planning. That's just devious, I did chuckle at the "end" when it basically is already in the ocean, or lake or whatever. And also, with the END being partially covered up from the waves, I can only imagine there are times when it's not visible at all. I would hope anyone riding would be paying attention enough to not need END to see it's turning into water. But I am certain people have rode straight into the ocean there. Now I gotta go Youtube this to see if someone has a camera set up to show it happening.

The slalom one had to be someone who hates cyclists.

As that page pointed out, the issue is that local councils only care about getting a high number for 'miles of cycle lane', so just put random little bits of "cycle lane" in all over the place, whether it's usable or not. Quite common to find a cycle lane that's about 5 meters long.
Generally they only put them in where the road is wide anyway so they can fit a bit of a cycle lane in, and they disappear at just the point where the road narrows and they are most needed ("Dunno what to do here, you're on your own now, good luck!").

Many areas of reddit are just a little gang of whiny trolls and the mods of some reddits, control freaks x 10. It is a waste of time trying to have a discussion with them, and you're far better off posting somewhere else, scooter oriented or electronics oriented.

It's only going to get worse, the more the younger generation of kids who grew up with no consequences in real life, that only know online life, spread out beyond their social platforms to other areas online.

Seems fine to me. A lot of motorcycles have stereos. People blast stereos with their windows rolled down, convertibles etc. You’re in a public space. The more directional the sound/speaker is the better though. Somehow I bet your solution will be a lot less annoying then the Harley Riders around here that blast their radios loud enough so they can hear it over their straight piped exhaust

Those guys are douchebags.
