I like long(er) hair. Color looks fine. If you're looking to make a change, go for it. Your hair will always grow out again.
 
Guy here, and think the current style looks good - sometimes simpler is best. FWIW, the new style makes me think of Paula Abdul. You look relatively young though, so nothing wrong with change for change's sake.
 
I'm an idiot because I think your hair already looks like what you want, just colored differently.

Myself, I always get a high and tight, skin, 3 every 3 weeks, and probably will until I die. 🙂
 
I think you would look great with something like this. I'm a sucker for girls with great hair, so this is one style I fancy.

I like the current one much better. But I also think we're going to need these bikini pics of yours pronto in order to make a more accurate judgment.
