I'd just add (haven't read all the replies) that the current style looks good on you. Why would you want to hide your pretty face with that other hairstyle?

I'm a long hair guy kinda guy, who is generally put off by 'fashion' things. Because of that I prefer your now picture by quite a big margin.

well, i did just realize she looks pretty darn young in the pictures! didn't wanna be found looking at 16-yr old girl, albeit cute.
 
I'm not doing it to be like her. I've been thinking about this type of 3 different color look. I just need a picture to show the hair dresser. And this pictures fits to the colors that I want.

a poll of an after and before pic would be fun as well, if you decide to carry through~
