I restated an argument is different terms and asked if made better sense to you. I decided to watch it for no other reason than to get some sense of people's objections. I can say that I did not see what you claimed to see. At the end of the video a few of the speakers including Peterson comment on what they experienced. His remarks did not indicate to me that he felt his ass was handed to him and the notion he was outwitted by smart college kids, isn't that your personal opinion? Can you give me an example where he used deflection tactics? In my view he was fully prepared to attempt to explain all of his positions. If you simply want to shit and leave it instead, that will be fine by me.

As I recall I was lucky enough to avoid all of that as it was clear and obvious that my first girlfriend had already fallen for me. But I clearly know the feelings you describe. How do I measure up. How do I allow myself to feel worthy of love as the fear is that the lover will soon see is that self hate equates to I don't really deserve to be loved. This is also why so many couples break up. They keep demanding proof they are loved and set more and more tests for the lover to pass finally turning the other person off with the needy demands.
