I have just finished building my computer. All top of the line: Pentium 4 3Ghz 800FSB; Radeon 9800; Asus P4C800; 1 GB RAM; etc. Everything boots up correctly and I can get into the BIOS and everything is detected. Then when I try to install windows xp it gives me "Line (random number) of the INF file \i386\txtsetup.sif is invalid. Setup can not continue."
Sometimes I will get lucky and it will pass that screen and start loading all the necessary files for setup. When it does this it will stop on one of the files and say it is corrupted and setup must quit.
I don't know what to think. I have tried installing Windows with multiple drives, but it gives me the same error messages.
