Okay, I have been trying Opera 10.5 the last few days. And one feature is really annoying.
The tabs do no meet the top of the window. Meaning, when maximed, I can't shoot the mouse over the top of the screen and hit the tab.

Tabs aren't shown by default, but there are other ways of changing to different tabs:

Ctrl+Tab cycles through the list of open tabs
or
Hold right mouse button and roll mousewheel

You can even modify the fullscreen options to include toolbars that don't show by default.

I think he is describing the behavior if you just hit the Maximize button at top-right, and you are describing the behavior if you press F11 to enter Fullscreen mode.

i remember when they first enabled this in version 8 i think, its an amazing feature

The best thing is that it can be switched between:

Cycle in recently used order
Cycle in tab bar order
Cycle without showing list

And now you can choose to show thumbnails in the list. :)

I understood it like that as well, but it simply doesn't do that. The toolbar will always show unless you completely disable it or go to fullscreen mode (F11).
