Got a ticket for speeding (I-75, Ohio) on December 9. I put the ticket in my bag, kept putting off taking a look at it again.
Finally took a look at it tonight. December 22nd was the court date (no required appearance, but that's also the due date for the fine).
I took a look at the online payment system, and the fee increased (I figured that part makes sense); As a further slap in the face, it says I cannot pay online. Yet the ticket and all directions thus far stated I could.

The warnings on the back of the ticket speak of dire consequences.
Am I about to get raped by Ohio's various agencies?
I'm calling tomorrow (and hoping they are open). If not, I'm shooting the court an email so I can at least demonstrate a communication attempt one day earlier, 4 days after versus 5 should look better to someone... hopefully.
