Phew.

They were closed yesterday (figures), and I didn't get around to emailing them, figured I wouldn't get a response till today anyhow.

Turns out, when I didn't appear at court, the Judge gave a two-week extension.
I couldn't pay online because of it being past-due, but that is because the extension hadn't been applied. The extensions were just entered into the system this morning, and there is a 24-hour update window. Should be able to pay online tomorrow, without any other penalties than what appears a fair late fee (if that is indeed the discrepancy I am seeing).
