Cisco, SDR memory is MUCH slower than DDR memory (about half as fast). With the MX cards, it won't matter much due to the bandwidth being cut in half when DDR memory is used. With this Geforce 256 card, it has the full bandwidth allowed for the DDR memory. This makes it much faster in memory access than the MX cards. The MX cards however, have a faster Geforce 2 processor. This helps make up some of the performance difference by using either slower SDR memory, or less pathways to the faster DDR memory. I still don't believe that the difference is going to be that drastic between, the MX cards or this one. I don't play very graphically intense games, but the thought of TV outs intrigues me at this point. I wonder how D2 will look on a 56" HDTV🙂 At ~$110, it makes it a very nice buy if you're in the market for a good card with TV out.
