I ordered two of them. One for my kids PC, and one for a system I'm doing for a friend. Both cancelled. The $30 was a rebate that ended 12/31/00.

I've generally had good luck with Onvia. I could have got it at a B&M and still had the rebate if I'd known it was out of stock (it still shows as in stock). It would be silly to blame Samsung.

Whew! Just talked to a fellow named "Jessie" and he said he's got one and he'll send it using the same invoice with the December 30th date on it.

Yeah, I just told him I knew where he lived and asked if he valued his mother's health etc.

Honestly, I don't know what the story is, but the order number is supposed to show it being shipped tomorrow. Sorry to bother you all, but this is kind of a biggie for me.

LOL, you guys are worried for nothing! Mail In Rebate is still going on...well, it started anew.

Samsung has had mail in rebates on their monitors for well over a year now! I got my SyncMaster 900p with a $50 MIR last october and my friend got his SyncMaster 953DF (which kicks the llama's ass) with a $30 MIR.

They always start new MIRs after the old ones die.
