that is a sweeping generalization, to say the least.
you are saying that no one in the projects helps eachother, that everyone living in the projects kills eachother?
I'm not writing a volume on it so it's just a simple vague answer.

Most online gamers average about 13 years of age. Mmorpgs are a little bit better. Everquest used to average, according to polls at least, 21-22, though I'd estimate it at about 15 currently and falling.
Well, instead of pulling numbers out of my ass like others, here are some real gaming demographics. Plenty of people, old and young, don't like to be bothered by "newb" questions which is what the parent asked.

That doesn't say a damn thing, sport 😉

Its quite simple actually. You're a n00b. The most reviled creature in the gaming world. Why, you ask? Because, when n00bs aren't TKing or causing their teams to lose due to their ineptitude they are asking questions that could be answered by reading one of the myriad of game guides, tutorials and walkthroughs that are all over the Internet. Or better yet they could go spectator for a while until they actually learn how play the game. Instead of whining when people don't spoon feed them the answers they want.

Oh and anyone using the term "n00b" or any derivation thereof online will automatiicaly be considered a nerd.

I haven't read much of the thread, but I will say that I can't stand when people act "1337", etc., like they are better than anyone else. If FF is on in such a situation, well, it's on :|.

computers, and specifically online gaming transform people like cars do.

people wouldn't normally be aholes probally, but because they get to hide behind a medium be it a large suv, rice rocket, or computer they get to say and act however they please. You will find cool people online, remember who they are, and play with them exclusively 🙂
