My friend had one and the screen looked very washed out compared to my HTC M7 screen, let alone any AMOLED-screened phone I've used.

NAY for me.

It is definitely a good phone, but you have to remember that OnePlus and CM are the ones supporting the software. The phone is usually pretty rock solid, but you will need to trust those two companies to support it over the next year or so.

I just got rid of mine so I could have a reliable phone (Nexus 6). It was worth the extra money to me, and I'm definitely happy to be rid of the phone.

YMMV.

Ive had the OPO for a year with no problems at all. I dont upload roms or mess with it at all and it's been very stable. I have it on Tmobile with a prepaid plan and the coverage has been great on my college campus. I really couldnt beat the value when I bought it.

I owned my OPO for a year. To sum it up the OPO had the best battery life of any phone I ever owned, had a great screen, and I enjoyed the doubletap to wake feature. Negatives were that it had a horrible camera that never worked properly with many different programs, CM stopped giving consistent updates and OxygenOS was buggy, and it didn't have wireless charging which I missed from my N5. Since I came from the N5 that had a decent camera, consistent software updates, and wireless charging, I went to an S6 which has the best camera and wireless charging.

I would NOT get the OPO again. Software and hardware means a lot and the OPO may have the stats, but nothing else plays together well.

Yay.

I love mine. Profiles, quiet time, double tap to wake, voice to wake, battery life. The camera is fine for my needs.

Like these guys, I'm on the verge of getting rid of the OPO. For me, it's the poor software performance--CyanogenOS is still essentially a bloatware filled hobby custom ROM, and the lack of polish and cohesion is obvious. Software updates are slow to rollout as Cyanogen has essentially pushed the OPO down their priority list. It's a great tinker phone--I've grown a little tired of the constant flashing and random bugs I find, though. (Self inflicted, I know)

Hardware, overall is good, and the price is excellent. But the extra $150-200 for the more polished software might be worth it to me. Then again, it might not be for everyone.

Also, for T-Mo USA users, OPO does not have LTE band 12 (700MHz) which is newly deployed in most TMo markets. Newer TMo phones have this band enabled.

Thanks for the feedback. It's a nay for me.

My decision is coming down to LG G4 or wait for Bullhead.

Do you care about ASOP? Fast updates? Or do you prefer bettery battery life with a decent camera?

That might be what separates the two.

I love mine. Superior in every way to the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S3 I had before it. What I really enjoy is the 2 days of battery life. I almost always keep it above 80% charged, but I know if I forget my charger when I go out of town for the weekend, it's not really a problem.

I had one and sold it after a couple months - It's well worth the money, but there's better hardware out there and the customer service was non-existent
