One of my friends called my girlfriend something rude.

Its kinda hard for me to kick his ass, with me being 6000 miles away and all.

Should i ask my girl if she would like me to talk to him, should i just confront him anyway, or should i just leave it be?

She didnt seem too affected by it because it happened online, and apparently he was drunk.

To me it dosent matter what the circumstances were, you dont go pullin that crap.

Prolly talk to him about it is what i would do, he prolly feels bad about it anyway just one of those things you wish you could take back.

I'd talk to him about it. If Danielle wasn't really bothered by what he said then don't make a big deal out of it. Just explain to him that his behavior isn't acceptable regardless of the circumstances. 🙂

depends on the topic of conversation... was she doing something that would warrant a name calling?

She just left her IM signed on after she went to bed last night, he just messaged her out of the blue.

Agreed... that's horsey p00.

What is the issue. My guess is that you are feeling that you have to puff up like a gorilla and beat your chest and drive this piffy upstart away. Do you really care? Is it a real issue, or are you worried about what other people, particularly your girlfriend, will think? There are, I'm quite sure, a number of dead heroes in the next world. Is your girlfriend looking for a champion, does she get off on being fought over, or is she interested in a relationship and realized that not every idiot in the world is her or your problem?

Mulla Nasrudin was sitting in a train station when a young lout ran by and knocked his hat off. The Mulla picked it up and put it back on. A bystander said to him, aren't you going to do something about him? The Mulla replied that's not how this thing is working out. A few minutes later the lout did the same thing to a soldier who drew his weapon and shot him dead on the spot.

Im not lookin to fight over her, i dont have to.

Im just trying to stand up for something i think was utterly rude and inexcusable.

I didn't say he had to say it that way exactly. I just said that he needs to explain it to him. 😛

Let her fight for herself first or handle the matter herself. If she needs help, then you can meddle in. It isn't everytime that a guy has to meddle into something in the name of protecting his gf. Just don't side with the guy.

Some of my friends heard from one of the lowlifes at my school that my girlfriend was a slut(not true), and they took that to be accurate, I didn't physically hurt them, but I verbally reemed them out beyond belief.

was protocol in Roman court. I'd like to think we're a tad bit more enlightened now. It's not a federal case. Explain to her how much you don't like his behavior and tell him to try not to be such an a-hole in the future build a bridge and get over it.

Your wish to "chivalrously defend her honor" while endearing is incorrect. You can't always leap to her rescue, and she'd probably be really irritated with you if you tried. She's a full grown woman after all.

~~edit
immature has a negative connotation I don't intend, so I swapped it with incorrect.
