You're one smart cookie! Way to use your powers of deduction, common sense and intellect! Sure wish Trumpublicans valued these things. If they did the choice to love and support Trump and his Administration would be an easy one. They'd drop those pricks in a heart beat.

Yeah but think of the upside, you're the laughingstock of the world...

It makes people happy even if only in the short term, that has to be worth something?

It's cute that you think it's important what the rest of the world thinks about the President.

Really? Because for the last eight years we heard nothing but how Obama has made us the laughing stock of the world.

For a troll you are pretty fucking stupid.

It absolutely matters, because a world that treats the US as a joke is less likely to offer favorable trade deals, cooperate on defense and respect Americans traveling abroad.

Not surprising that you didn't see any farther than your nose, though...

It does matter, especially for trade.

Look what Canada is doing right now; setting up the stage for a worst case trade scenario because they have to. Trump wants to rip up NAFTA, so Canada's prime minister is giving a speech directly to the National Governors Association consisting of more than 30 very eager state governors.

http://m.ottawasun.com/2017/07/07/trudeau-to-attend-meeting-with-more-than-30-us-governors

Officially Canada is not going around Trump, but... well.. You can judge for yourself. Isolationism is an idea which doesn't make much sense/cents anymore...

My understanding is the leaders were positioned by length of term. So the photo says...... nothing. If that's not the case, someone correct me.

Obama was very well respected by everyone and he intimidated Russia and China to the point where they were actually not sure what to do.

With Trump it's just cute how he tries to act like a big shot while the US former allies consider him an idiot and Putin considers him his bitch.

I mean, can you imagine this scenario; An American president says that he is honoured to meet the leader of a hostile foreign nation known for it's extreme corruption, military action to quell democracy wherever it may arise and who subverted a US election by hacking one party's computers?

This would have been unthinkable before Trump but with Trump, it's fucking expected.

America is a joke, it's time to get rid of NATO and form a EU defence alliance which we will take part of through the JTF. It's time to build a a defence force that can stand up to the rogue nations such as Russia, the US, NK, SA and the others.

We should do that and all the former NATO nations and the members of the new alliance should send a video to Trump where they unanimously say "you're fired".

Well your joy does make me a bit sad.

Why? I'm not happy that you are sad, what a horrible man that would make me. I'm just happy that the US go to this point. Now you can see what is wrong and fix it.

Or not, either way we're leaving you behind.

Don't mistake trollish behavior with a measure of intelligence. I've known some smart and even brilliant trolls, just as I knows complete idiot trolls.

I've seen folks with more than a couple of active brain cells act in a trollish manner and do it brilliantly to prove some point or other. I've never seen an actual intelligent troll.

There is some validity to that but so many Americans feel hog-tied by this OrangeMoron, truly helpless and without options. Having to undo what he is doing will be daunting at best. Leaving the U.S. behind is the price America will have to pay.

I remember when Bush put the restrictions on Stem Cell Research, I was very disappointed. Thinking America would be left in the dust. Amazing things have been done with adult stem cells since then though. Tying their hands forced their hands.

It's hard to imagine a politician exists today that can not only undo what he's doing to the country but also heal relations world wide. Once you become someone to laugh at it is very difficult to be taken seriously again. People like to laugh.

Yeah well... I can't fix that for you, you have to fix that for you.

Hell I can't even get a reasonable politician to be popular in my own nation.

It should be noted that NOTHING that was done with stem cells in the last decade was done in the US and that adult stem cells are useless for anything and everything but minor cellular rebuilding.

You buy our stem cell materials at a scale of 35 000:1 from what you can produce and when we are talking about research you are not even in the game any more.

I have hope in you and the likes of you but this is either a passing phase from a rebellious young nation or it is the start of your downfall. Which it is is up to you, all I can do is say that I hope you are going to be fine.

Well, there is some hope. Remember how Bush Jr. spent a good chunk of his administration alienating countries? Remember how Obama largely managed to mend that reputation, to the point where he's still beloved in countries like Canada, France and Germany? He was far from perfect, but we need another statesperson like that, someone who has plenty of intelligence and diplomatic tact.

The main question is whether or not the Democrats will have that person by 2020, and whether or not they'll be quick about undoing Trump's damage at home as well as abroad.

Obama was the man in the UK and pretty much every European nation too, not so much in some of the more conservative eastern european nations and certainly not in Russia or China.

The man drove a hard bargain but he did good for the US without leaving others feeling like they were screwed. I don't think Trump gets this, no one has to deal with him or the US and he can't leave partners stranded in world politics, if you piss of your allies you can't move on.

Obama got that, he was a statesman worthy of the epithet which pissed off the morons to no end. They thought that someone stupid, low IQ with absolutely no grasp of the situation would do much better...

Why did they think that? They're morons.

So far I'm discouraged by how the Dems are showing up. It makes me doubt they are going to pull their stuff together by 2018. It would be a good start and give me hope for 2020.

I'm not seeing another Obama among them. Agreed he wasn't perfect but he was at least a good man with loads of charm.

When Trump tries to charm it looks like he's having a difficult nay, impossible bowel movement. He's not even trying to charm any one on the world stage but sh*t leaders and that looks an awful lot like treason.

I can't help but wonder about Biden... he'll definitely be on the old side by 2020, but he's amiable, intelligent and stands firm on key principles. That and he'd probably look like a life preserver for a country waiting for the adults to regain control of government.

Here's a direct question for you: Do Roflmouth's posts betray even the slightest scintilla of intelligence, wit, incisiveness or . . . anything much? Don't you think a crudely programmed cliche bot couldn't match or surpass him? Look again at his posts in all their magnificence and get back to us on that. ;)

Why did they think that? They're morons.

Most of the folks that voted for Trump were conditioned by decades of GOP fear and hate mind fvcking to the point where a guy like Trump could walk in the door, scream out to them with such hate and vitriol that he was the answer to all of the manufactured problems the GOP told them they had and thus win their hearts and minds. Trump literally stole these well conditioned souls from the GOP and made them his own, along with a very critical yet small group of folks that bought into his infamous lies of which gave him his victory at the polls.

Most notably, Trump got his victory from outright lying to his supporters, from selling them snake oil in the form of promises he never intended to keep, from screaming words that sadly gave millions of folks a sense of false hope. He dulled their wits and common sense with bravado and hate for "the others", the Baba Yaga, the profiteers that took their jobs overseas et al.

But most of all, as he dulled their wits, he reached into their guts and told them that all of the lies wrapped in the fear and hate that the GOP spin machine was tirelessly convincing them of was the absolute TRUTH, and every bad thing being said about him was FAKE, and he was their savior, their white knight in shining armor that would allay all of the hate and the fears they were conditioned into believing. He got to these folks through retarding them so convincingly that his play on their emotions was more than enough to defeat their common sense and rational thought. He promised them jobs. He promised to drain the swamp. He promised to build "The Wall" that Mexico would pay for, and those poor poor bastards believed him and voted for him because "IT FELT LIKE THE RIGHT THING TO DO", just like that proverbial salesman selling ice to the eskimo (no offense eski).

My actual theory is that he is an AFA guy trying to make Trump worshippers (and yes, i do mean worshippers because they have long since abandoned the "support" stage where they could ever possibly admit that he could be wrong on anything) look bad which is no easy but completely useless task.

I mainly think of him as pointless but once in a while i might respond to the plonker out of general principle.

My apologies for when I do, it is not my intention to feed the bot/troll/twit.

Fair enough? ;)

It's too late to get into all of that but I do have opinions on the matter on how parts of the US have been fucked over when it comes to education and how some families in the US remind me of immigrant families in the UK that are hellbent on living according to their own honour systems and ignore the reality needed to be accepted to be productive members of society or even decent human beings.

I'd say that the US Alt Right resembles the Pakistani Islamic traditionalists in the UK more than any other group I can think of.

No it doesn't, not to people like him who cannot even grasp the simplest things. He, like Trump, thinks that if the rest of the world would just go away and coal mines could be re opened then everything would be fine.

The world will leave the US in the dust as you regress into old times while everyone else moves on.

Which world is this you speak of?

As Beijing Joins Climate Fight, Chinese Companies Build Coal Plants
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/01/climate/china-energy-companies-coal-plants-climate-change.html
Over all, 1,600 coal plants are planned or under construction in 62 countries, according to Urgewald’s tally, which uses data from the Global Coal Plant Tracker portal. The new plants would expand the world’s coal-fired power capacity by 43 percent.

The fleet of new coal plants would make it virtually impossible to meet the goals set in the Paris climate accord, which aims to keep the increase in global temperatures from preindustrial levels below 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

Electricity generated from fossil fuels like coal is the biggest single contributor globally to the rise in carbon emissions, which scientists agree is causing the Earth’s temperatures to rise.

“Even today, new countries are being brought into the cycle of coal dependency,” said Heffa Schücking, the director of Urgewald.
