It's too late to get into all of that but I do have opinions on the matter on how parts of the US have been fucked over when it comes to education and how some families in the US remind me of immigrant families in the UK that are hellbent on living according to their own honour systems and ignore the reality needed to be accepted to be productive members of society or even decent human beings.

I'd say that the US Alt Right resembles the Pakistani Islamic traditionalists in the UK more than any other group I can think of.

It's what happens when your constituency is a strange amalgam of, among other demographics, religious zealots, traditionalists/nativists, white supremacists and a core group of thoroughly disenchanted, angry brainwashed loyalist fanatics. ;)

Obama was very well respected by everyone and he intimidated Russia and China to the point where they were actually not sure what to do.

With Trump it's just cute how he tries to act like a big shot while the US former allies consider him an idiot and Putin considers him his bitch.

I mean, can you imagine this scenario; An American president says that he is honoured to meet the leader of a hostile foreign nation known for it's extreme corruption, military action to quell democracy wherever it may arise and who subverted a US election by hacking one party's computers?

This would have been unthinkable before Trump but with Trump, it's fucking expected.

America is a joke, it's time to get rid of NATO and form a EU defence alliance which we will take part of through the JTF. It's time to build a a defence force that can stand up to the rogue nations such as Russia, the US, NK, SA and the others.

We should do that and all the former NATO nations and the members of the new alliance should send a video to Trump where they unanimously say "you're fired".

It might be a bit difficult and expensive when the UK's Trident II Missiles are all maintained by the USA...

No it doesn't, not to people like him who cannot even grasp the simplest things. He, like Trump, thinks that if the rest of the world would just go away and coal mines could be re opened then everything would be fine.

The world will leave the US in the dust as you regress into old times while everyone else moves on.

Yea, but we have our military and nukes!

Chris Uhlmann, the political editor of the government-funded Australian Broadcasting Corporation, describes Trump at G20 as "...biggest threat to the west" and said his disastrous foreign policy had “pressed fast-forward on the decline of the United States” and much, much more:

Speaking on Sunday from the G20 conference in Hamburg, Uhlmann said Trump had shown “no desire and no capacity to lead the world” and was himself “the biggest threat to the values of the west”.

“He was an uneasy, lonely, awkward figure at this gathering and you got the strong sense that some of the leaders are trying to find the best way to work around him,” Uhlmann said.

[...]

Uhlmann said Trump was obsessed with “burnishing his celebrity” and had “diminished” his own nation to the benefit of Russia and China.

“We learned that Donald Trump has pressed fast-forward on the decline of the United States as a global leader. He managed to isolate his nation, to confuse and alienate his allies and to diminish America.

“[He is] a man who barks out bile in 140 characters, who wastes his precious days as president at war with the west’s institutions like the judiciary, independent government agencies and the free press.”

Now, reading further in this short article, this guy Uhlmann seems a bit of a publicity seeking loose cannon, but still . . .
