On the ride into work this morning

I rode out of the carport, I looked up and was stunned at how clear the sky was. The stars twinkling brightly just took my breath away. I felt like I was five again and was really looking at the midnight sky with hopes and dreams. It's pretty neat how nature can really bring the calm into your life at the most unexpected moments.

My breath is always taken away by the stars, so I know how you feel. I'm glad to live in an area where they can be clearly seen at night.🙂

Yeah, I've had that feeling once or twice too.
 
Had the same feeling last night. I was sitting in the hot tub, head laid back, resting against the tub pillow, staring up at the sky and realizing how clear the sky looked. The neighbors Christmas lights were twinkling a couple houses away and one older lady had decorated a tree in her back yard. I mentioned to my wife how she could come over to my side of the tub and make the evening complete and she responded with a "Not going to happen". The moment was ruined.
