Another stupid question: With the T-Zones and the iPhone, can you actually browse web sites as if on a mini-laptop (like checking webmail, Google Maps etc.)? I am a total newb as far as mobile Internet goes.

Now, you have the mobile internet that the iphone uses. It can go to any site on the web, and with the exception of flash and java, will display everything there. You can easily zoom in, scroll around and everything. Navigating and reading the page is almost as easy as a large desktop screen.
