Looks good, but I would suspect some sort of catch. You also only get 10x the amount of bandwidth as storage. This would not work for me, but for someone looking for something cheap, this would definatly be good.

This deal is much hotter, the only thing im worried about is the legitimacy of the company.... I trust dixiesys, not so sure about manlius yet...

well.. for the same price compared to the dixiesys deal, you get:

50X the storage
13X the bandwidth

basically everything else is equal.
 
Kind of odd bit on their "Usage Policy":

Multimedia files are defined as any graphics, audio, and video files. Manlius.com Web Hosting accounts are not to be used for the purposes of distributing and storing unusual amount of multimedia files. Any Web site whose disk space usage for storing the multimedia files exceed 70% of its total usage, either in terms of total size or number of files, will be deemed to be using unusual amount of multimedia files.

I assume this is just to be used as an excuse if someone is truely abusing the system.

One more thing over dixiesys, ssh access. I signed up for a reseller account with them earlier this week, and things have been running smoothly.

 
I signed up, that 2gb of webspace would be REALLY helpful for my 800+ pictures from my trip over here so far... 😀

i ended up getting the special 3, for the extra webspace. should be good for my picture archive, which will finally be back up 🙂 4000 pictures back again!
 
I pulled the trigger on special number 3. I just hope the number of slots is still ok. Would hate to lose out on this deal.
