Those prices look too good to be true. Hot deal if it is legitimate though, I'm seriously tempted.

bah, I bit. After I made my previous post they updated their original post and listed 3 plan 1's available. Hopefully I won't regret this.... I'm skeptical after being shafted by cyberwings.

Well if anything happens $10 bucks is no biggy for me. Blockbuster has ripped me off that much in late fees :p I should have gotten the $20 plan while I was talking to the guy on AIM lol b4 they checked the orders.

Oh well I'll just say I minimized my potential losses.

Don't worry, they have been doing these "specials" since June or something. And the same plans keep costing less and less.

Too late. All out. Have to stick with Dixiesys. Though so far I am satisfied there.

I ordered around 7PM and just got my account setup email. Not bad. Hopefully these guys don't pull a CW.

I paid via 2checkout. I received my welcoming e-mail a few min ago, nothing out of the ordinary. I have another website hosted with another company and am already familiar with the ensim control panel. will take a while for the nameservers to propagate. Only problem I can forsee is the company possibly going kaput soon.

If you're hosting anything that is at all important -- like, say, your main e-mail account -- please, please, PLEASE understand that you get what you pay for. A year ago, people thought $19.95 a month for hosting was a good deal. Now, it's got to be 99 cents a month. Bandwidth costs haven't changed for these hosts -- their business models are largely the same. So, you need to think long and hard whether these hosts can sustain prices like that.

I'm not saying you have to spend a fortune.

That's what I don't understand...during the whole Cyberwings fiasco (of which I too was a victim) people kept saying "well if he steals my money, it's only $5, or $10, etc.". The point isn't how MUCH he took, but the fact that he STOLD MONEY FROM PEOPLE! I lost over $50 from him. I'm sure many lost more than that. If it were $1 it would still be theft.

LOL that was just my way of rationalizing in case something does happen. I was never planning on getting a host for my site. I just wanted a hostwith php and mysql so I could practice with. A $10 loss isn't too bad if I can pick up a new skill.

Weird, when I put my DNS info:

Primary DNS Server Hostname: aries.f-c-t.com
Primary DNS Server Address: 216.127.72.69

Secondary Name Server Hostname: gemini.f-c-t.com
Secondary Name Server Address: 216.127.72.179

into godaddy(Nameserver 1,2,3,4) I get:

Invalid domain name extension: 216.127.72.69
Invalid domain name extension: 216.127.72.179

Am I doing something wrong?
