On bootup, I see 8 lines in the top left corner.

My assumption is this is a graphics thing, but out of the blue a few months ago during bootup, I started to see these 8 lines in the top left of my main monitor (2xDell 2209WA's).

I took a crappy cell pic :

Everything works fine, gaming is great, movies, etc. But this adds a good 25-30 seconds to boot, where it sits on that screen, any ideas what may have brought this about?

I'm assuming this is Windows 7 right? I get it in W7 as well and have had it in the beta and official with Nvidia/ATI cards.

Windows 7 PRO 64bit, yeah.

It takes so much time, what the heck is it?? It goes BIOS POST -> those 8 lines -> WIN LOG IN

Is this a replacement of the splash screen I may have accidentally done while tweakin?

Yeah, no GUI boot option. It annoyed me so much I enabled the GUI login again.

I just installed Ubuntu GNU/Linux 10.04 onto a system with an AMD 630 and a 760G, and you should see the screenful of garbage that is left on the screen after the video driver initializes, but before the desktop paints. I almost paniced when I first saw it, but it went away in a few seconds.
