Above the checkboxes, there is a field to add parameters. Add the ones your missing there.

LOL guess you can tell a lot about a guy by his desktop. (I just got it and have played once online so far (TH3))

Anyway I'll try to help some of you out with your questions, right now I'm not a school and on my parents computer so I don't have it right infront of me.

To answer one question.
TO get it off Africa you have to type in Log and Lad coordinates, I forget the link for where I found mine, but if you look in the screen shot you'll see the coordinates for Columbus, OH :) Anway type those in as Parameters and it'll switch over. see how I have parameters -longitude 40.0028 -laditude -83.0164

hope this helps.

ask more questions and I'll try to help

I know there is a way to add markers on the planet and also stallite paths

for those of you who have it working so far try to add the parameter -markerfile earth and/or -satfile iss (the satfile tracks the international space station :) )

It updates the clouds I think every 6 hours

Marty, do you have all the options I have DESELECTED, deselected. That may be the problem, then say start now.

I had near identical options checked/unchecked you had. The only difference is the the actual folder dir.

You shouldn't have the folder directory checked in the Parameters...I have mine unchecked and mine works fine.

Only things I have checked are:
-blend (added this myself)
-clouds_i clouds_2000.jpg
-lattitude (added this myself)
-longitude (added this myself)

BTW, I'm using v1.0.1.50

Hey Yzzim, I don?t have it checked.

It works now for some reason. I just woke up, turned the computer and there was a globe with clouds in my desktop! :D

BTW, does it automatically blend the pic with that night shot at night?

Also, I thought the program automatically updates the desktop with out having me to do it manually. Cause I have to go to display properties and refresh it manually after I click start now. Oh, I also have a red X over the globe pic in the task manager.

EDIT - hmm... when I click on the globe image on the taskbar, it the red X disappear. But it still dont update it automatically.

The first time that I got it to work, I had everything checked that neomits had. As far as I can tell, you can delete everything that's like "C:\Program" or "-mapdir" etc. Also, if you want to mess with the latitude and longitude, you've got to de-select "-dayside"! If you click on the box with an "i" on it right next to the "Parameter (String)" box, then that pops up the Readme file with all of the attributes listed.

Has anybody figured out how to get the different bodies? I really want the moon! Do you have to download a new file?
