:( THATS why we're in Afghanistan and Iraq people.
Nah, more like Mr Bush and company wants their oil.
Yeah, that obviously worked.
It did, we've got plenty of oil. Just can't refine it quickly enough.

Iraqs oil production has not increased.

Way to think with your emotions. On the same level as an animal.

No. Humans are below animals. No animal if given the chance would do what was done to that man.

Revenge caused 9/11. That was this militant sect's revenge on us. Why do they have any reason to want such revenge? Stomping hard just causes more "collateral damage" and spawns more people who now have a reason to be part of a extreme sect and a way to get revenge for their lost loved ones. Revenge is not the answer. Afaghanistan had to be dealt with and I think everyone could feel somewhat safer after the camps and regime were toppled. I still have a feeling that our government is failing us now because of lack of effective action to address the real geosocial problem. The military will not solve that.

*Sorry if this turns religious*

Although Osama Bin Laden was responsible for the cruel deaths of many Americans since 9/11...and is hated by virtually all westerners...he's still a child of God(From my Christian standpoint)

You have heard it said you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. For if you love only those who love you, what reward is there in that?

-Jesus-

Shedding more blood isnt going to do anything but bring about more destruction and hatred.

Tell that to Bin Laden; he started it and has no intention to end it.

That call gave me chills. :(

The problems are rooted way deeper than that.

In a sense we had some part to are own demise(starting at post-World War 2)....We(as in USA and Euro)went to "their land" first for oil and other profits starting from the 50's ...but i'll just leave it at that

After years of being bombarded with 9/11 nonsense, I couldn't care less about anything 9/11 related. I didn't feel a thing watching that video.

The world was never closer to us than right after 911, altho thanks to Bush's fvcking small pnis syndrome the world has never been further, and the amount of innocent lives its costing is incredulous.

911 was very painful, even still is watching this, but the anger that has ensued as a result of fvcked policies and decisions has been seemingly much harder to bare for most people.

Thats right, and anyone that can say both are a mistake and listen to that without feeling anything and still think we shouldn't be there. in my mind are close to the same kind of people that caused this.

very chilling 911 call. like others have said, damn

Iraq had nothing, whatsoever, even in the most indirect sense, to do with 9/11. I am an Operating Enduring Freedom vet and I was proud to serve in a combat zone in prosecution of the war in Afghanistan. That said, I'd say the people who use the rage they feel at a tape like this to rationalize an offensive war with a completely unrelated country are closer to the people who caused this than any anti-war true believer.

This tape is really awful, heartbreaking actually. RIP, Mr. Cosgrove.

Bless you for your service, and most especially your rationality.
