The boat itself is leaning several feet off the edge, its center of gravity is pretty close to that edge.
There's no way it would stay balanced like that.unless the road is actually tilted away from the cliff making the cliff look steeper than it is due to an odd angle. And the people standing around that don't look like they are leaning towards the ledge debunks that theory. For the picture to be un-photochopped with the boat in that position it would have to be an action shot, where the boat goes over the cliff within the next couple seconds.
Also the children on the right side of the pic don't have shadows at the angle that everything else does. And consider the position of the "photographer".
Uh, no the boat doesn't have to be lighter. It just has to displace a volume of water equal to its weight, judging from the size of that boat, it weighs at least 4,500 pounds.
The trailer is jammed into the rocks, and the center of gravity for a boat trailer is almost always immediately above the axles, not towards the front.
It would stay that way if the trailer were jammed into the rocks as it appears to be.
