Also the children on the right side of the pic don't have shadows at the angle that everything else does. And consider the position of the "photographer".

Uh, no the boat doesn't have to be lighter. It just has to displace a volume of water equal to its weight, judging from the size of that boat, it weighs at least 4,500 pounds.
The trailer is jammed into the rocks, and the center of gravity for a boat trailer is almost always immediately above the axles, not towards the front.
It would stay that way if the trailer were jammed into the rocks as it appears to be.

The boat's weight has nothing to do with whether it is holding the truck up. Even if it weighed as much as ten Oprahs, the trailer would not hold up the truck... because the trailer has wheels. The truck appears to be resting on an outcrop of rock. All the trailer is doing is providing some leverage so that the truck doesn't tip and fall over.
