OMG, Had to chase a hit and run driver last night!

I'm thinking even earlier...

My mother-in-law has gotten to the point where she only sees what she wants to see, and says "I'm retired, so the rules don't apply to me"... Goes the wrong way down one way streets, crosses medians, etc.

But for some reason she never gets nailed for the crap. :|

You should go down to the police department for a copy of your report and see if maybe they'll let you know how she's doing at least. You might end up with a life long friend from an incident like that. Very good job keeping your head on straight and following the guy. Someone else was right, we need more people like you on the road.

well I had to follow the guy down some back streets, he definately would have gotten away if I would have been flashing my lights and had my hazards on to give the cops the sign

I'm in Columbia, IL, but it happened in Belleville, IL about a 20 minute drive away, funny cause it takes longer than that just to go down Belleville's main street. I can go through 3-4 towns to get to belleville quicker than it takes me to drive down the mainstreet once I get there.

What an SOB. He was definitely trying to get away and knew what he was doing if he went through some back streets. I hope he gets roasted in court and then by Bubba in jail.

i went to the police station to get a report on saturday, but they said the traffic office is closed on the weekends.....
