OMG, Gingrich just denuded the CNN debate mod... wow...

It wasn't just infidelity he wanted. His wife contracted MS. IMHO he was being generous to offer to stay married to her in return for being allowed a mistress.

Most people will not accept their spouses succumbing to any kind of affliction today. Everything and everyone is disposable to most.

He goes on about the sanctity of marriage; his problem.

But hey, maybe that just applies to gay people.

We all know that men that screw around on their wives make shitty Presidents like Kennedy and Clinton, but do wives that are so stupid they don't know about it make good Secretaries of State?

*Edit* Damn i'm sorry, did I post in a Democrat circle jerk thread?

Politicians who's private lives directly contradict their public positions make bad presidents.

That's exactly what I said, thanks for supporting me. What about their stupid wives though?

I feel bad for the wives in a lot of cases. I wish these guys had the stones to stand up in the press conferences on their own and not drag out the wife. I know in a lot of cases they are aware but they don't deserve the public humiliation.

I remember David Vitter and Elliot Spitzers wives looked like hostages.

Newt Gingrich said:
"To take an ex-wife and make it two days before the primary a significant question for a presidential campaign is as close to despicable as anything I can imagine"

Then you have a very small imagination. More hyperbole from Newt. 🙄

I don't like Newt for a variety of reasons (including his actions with past wives and such), but he was absolutely right about this, and he played it perfectly. He pretty much smacked the cnn moderator around, and he knew that would play even better in front of a GOP crowd who hates the left wing media anyway. Great move by Newt, but I don't think he'd stand any chance in a general election.

You know what, though, he did handle it as well as he could given the circumstances, and if the forum was a presidential debate, it's a presidential debate, not an extension of dailymail.co.uk.

I love at the end you can see the dick-smearing look on Romney's face, around 2:57 or 2:58, man I hate that look on his face. He always has it. It's the look that says he's watching you just about to sign off on a really sh*ty payment plan on the piece of crap car he just sold you.

Do you seriously know people like that?

Yeah... that wasn't rehearsed or anything was it?

Did newt pay people to come and cheer for him? His comment about the media making it hard to find honest and good people to run for office was halarious.

If he was an honest and good person, there wouldn't be any dirt in the news about him! Nothing else to say about it.

It's absolutely a valid point because it calls into question his very charactor. If elected, would he ask the american people for an open presidency?

Newt's past marriages are relevant issues.

It's not just that he got divorced.... twice. It's also how bad those divorces came about, and how utterly awful his current relationships are with his ex wives.

If one cannot even run their own family/household properly (twice) then how can we expect him to run the whole country properly?

That's true, I think we all like the way Barack has kept control of his loud-mouthed wife the last couple of years. I wish he did a better job with his other bitch, Biden.

Gingrich knows that by and large, conservatives hold all non-conservative biased media in contempt in this country, and so he diverts attention from his past misdeeds, and earns points with the base at the same time, by excoriating said media. Very similar to playing up the race issue to earn votes from the base. Distract them with red meat. Give them stuff you know will make them cheer and all is forgiven.

So gingrich is a player and ashamed of his past? Too Bad, it is perfectly legitimate to point out that he divorced his wife because he wanted a free sex open marriage and she said to get lost. Just like President Clinton did when he was in office!

Go Newt, tell the media how despicable it is to report on the despicable stuff you did 😀

What? Allegedly ask his wife for an open marriage? Clinton allegedly had one? Why should this be a big deal to those on the left? I thought we weren't supposed to judge others on their personal lives? It was no big deal for Clinton to get a little action from Monica, right? It was no big deal for Teddy Kennedy to bang anything with a skirt, right?
