its a pretty fun game, but still no where compared to BF2 in terms of fun, size, and interaction.

Pretty good idea... more people should play it, and hopefully will if they know about it and can try it for free for a couple of days. While it's no where near the same game as BF2, I tend to have much more fun playing DoD:S, due to the lack of bugs and "friendlier" atmosphere, if that makes sense.

Hmmm I don't think it's terrible at all... I guess my only complaint is rifle grenades get annoying at times, though it's not that big of a deal for me.

I've been playing regular DOD since the very first beta came out. I really can't stand source... the weapons are horrendous. They're the most inaccurate of any game I've ever played. Unlike CS and CS:S, DOD:S has completely different gameplay than regular DOD. It feels like I'm playing a deathmatch game.

yeah, cod2 is 100x better.

in DOD you can't shoot a gun more than 2 shots unless you're lying prone because the "recoil" puts your crosshairs straight up in the air.

i've used many guns in my lifetime and the recoil isn't that bad.

Thank you. The weapons are just pathetic. There is no skill involved at all.
