I think that was part of why she sat by me. Being that her dad is a computer nerd and then when she sat by me she discussed the her brother and hsi computer experience. She also seemed excited when I mentioned my CS experience. Maybe I would fit in with the family :p

Take advantage of the situation, be bold if you want to go furthur with her. Seems to me, she likes your company. Go for it, you only live once.

haha...this sounds like my first crush. Granted I was 15 but same thing.

If you like her like you want to be friends with her then just chat it up and see if that leads to you guys hanging out more.

If you like her like you want to take things furthur, then take a chance and go for it! Being direct has always worked for me....none of this small talk, ask to study together, step by step stuff. If you guys have talked a little bit already, go for the gold and ask her out. It doesn't have to be anything fancy like dinner at a really nice restaurant. Just a movie or something.

Ask her out, at first like a coffee shop or something - but try not to force the issue too much. Cant hurt to try.

A girl kept sitting next to me in Calculus II class (sophomore year of college)... I finally decided to break the ice and just asked for her notes for a day I missed of class. We became friends... 1 year later, we were dating, 4 years later, we're engaged. Now we're buying a house.
