The WTF? Please. The state of TKD in the US is abysmal, especially in the olympic style schools. I have yet to see a competent fight-oriented WTF TKD school in the US (well, at least they're not the ATA), and I've looked/trained in at last 10 different schools.

I was an instructor in an ITF style TKD school. Now I stopped doing that and I teach WT (after learning it - I didn't pick it out of my ass or anything like that - I just started to dabble in other styles [well, found WT and trained in] once I started teaching ITF TKD) - WT: Wing Tsun Kuen.

Just to clarify, I'm not raggin on TKD in general - hell, I was an instructor like I said, but WTF in the US is just piss poor (again, at least they're not the ATA).

I've been to Master Kim's school in Portland. You know... the guy that's the president of the WTF. 😀 He's come to visit my school several times and has even been in on a few training nights and full-contact nights. 😎
