When you exit normally it deletes the auto recover files. This isn't going to be pretty.

Word autorecover files are deleted when the program exits normally.

Try downloading a program that finds recently deleted files and undelets them. Of course, don't save anything to your drive that Word was using (not even the downloaded program). Otherwise, you might overwrite that autorecover file.

Can you point me in the right direction for said program?

The final is in 1.40 hours ;)

Drink a glass of milk, and then a glass of vinegar, and go to the school's doctor for violent diarrhea.

Look through programs like these. Which one is best will vary with what file system you are using, and I can't help you there.

With 1 hour to go until the final, you might be better off studying instead of scrambling to download a program. Good luck.

I have no want nor desire to describe to you the past weeks in my life. You know, sometimes events happen that are tramautic enough to put school in second place.

My roommate has funneled several 2L bottles of coke before. Worked like a charm.

Indeed.

Being a student seems to need a total life change/seperation.

Handy Recovery worked great for recovering all of my digital photos from a hard drive that had its partition deleted. Try it.

People who don't save every like 5 min are idiotic...

I hit CTRL + S everytime I'm writing a paper and I hit the end of a sentence or I need to pause to think again. Unless I'm rambling on for 2 hrs straight, I'll be saving everytime there's a little pause in my train of thought.

I mean, to *really* get into being a student and learing everything and actually having enough hours in a day to do it as it should be done... that all needs an "empty cup" to "pour in the student".

I don't know what people expect to get out of the university when they work two jobs and have a kid and take night classes. Not to say that doing it that way is bad or anything, just not as rewarding as it could be.
