The 200i definitely is out of stock. The Cendyne is the only posible substitute. The 300i won't be a sub unless corp sends a new notice that morning.

Which one is better to buy? The DVDR+ or DVDR- drive?

I pickup up the same flier in NY. The only difference was that is was on VERY dark stock so it wouldn't copy or scan well.

It seems that the DVD player is the same which is sold for $80 in the B&M "weekly special buys" Dec 7-13. If that is true, it will be OOS before the F&F event starts

I got that same flyer through my office....kind of a "celebration" combining F & F with the OM/Boise partnership.

I think the F & F flyers have some local product selections, while the Boise flyer is nation wide.

Hey guys,
This is friends and family and this is supposely for friends and family. However, we do give out flyers to others who are new friends. Please keep in mind that we don't have to give it to anyone if they are not our friends or family members. So if you want one, please be nice. DON'T BE RUDE. I got a very rude asian VNmese guy that came into my store today and rudely demanded the flyer and no one knew him. So I gave him just the 3 days flyers. He then rudely starts yelling and my manager came out and verified that it's only for friends and family and he is not making any new friends by yelling and being rude to anyone. Then he demanded that I show him the computer that is on sale tomorrow. So I showed him while holding my breath not to lose my temper. Then he said he wants to buy it today for that price. I said no he cannot, it's for tomorrow but if he wants to buy it for the regular price he can. He told me to hold one for him, but I said I cannot hold any sale item since it's unfair for those who will come early.

My advice to you all is this, we are humans and we do get angry. Very rare do I run into such a rude person. If you are nice to the associates, they can order the stuffs if out of stocks. Especially the computers. However, the items that are under $50 on the total order, there will be a $10 shipping charge. Since this is a friends and family thing, we are not obligated to honor it though we want to help our sales and serve as many new friends as posible.
So the key here is say PLEASE and be curtious.
Thanks for your attention and hope we will have more new friends. The sub list is definitely the Cendynes. But the HP 300I won't be sub until the Cendynes are all gone and NEC 1100A are the drives inside and most stores don't have the HP. So come early and don't get mad if you don't get one. After all of the subs are gone there won't be any orders for the DVD writers. The computers can be ordered.

I was suppose to be off yesterday but two people called out sick b/c they were Hispanic. The Hispanic community is having a boycott on businesses b/c our new Governor repeal the law the Idiot Davis put into law before he was kicked out of office. The law basically allow ILLEGAL immigrants to get driver licenses. I am not or ever prejudice but our insurance is so high b/c of the border here. If they are illegally in the country how are they contribute to the economy other than selling illegal drugs and commit terrorist's acts. What is this country coming to?

One dude came in to buy a machine and wanted us to cut out the UPC for him, fill out the forms and copy everything for him. I told cashier that it's not our job to do so. Plus if something goes wrong with the rebate he will blame us.

One more dude came in starts yelling b/c he rather peel the UPC code to send in for the rebate, he cut out the whole card board side and mail it in. It was too heavy so the mail was returned to him. He came in pointing in my face and the manager and threating to call corporate.

On my day off and I had to come to work b/c I care for the store and this is all I get in a period of 3 hours.
We got the products guys, so come on in.

My local OM was out, so they substituted the HP 300i. I then strolled down to OD and bought an 80gig Maxtor HD for $84.84 minus a $50 rebate. I came out like a fat cat today.

The deal is for everyone who asks for it. But you have to be nice when you ask. If you want the DVDR writer you must also ask for it. The box is empty and for display only.

No rebates. For $19.99 you get two year of warranty since Cendyne is out of business.

Thanks for the post. I'm sitting in the office chair I picked up tonight. For $30 AR it's pretty comfortable. Got the Jump drive for a friend's stocking stuffer and a buddy with me picked up a WD160gb and desk lamp. We used the extra 5% off coupon on the electronics too. Bad dude has a point. I am always joking and teasing the guys at the local OM and we've become friends over time. When I come in now, they actually tell me about things that are on sale of going on sale. Sold me one of the left over $9 dvd-roms that one of the employees didn't pick up and that was almost 3 weeks after that sale was over. You get what you give, be nice, get nice. Be an a**, here's the TP and there's the door. We don't own those people when we walk in the door.

i think something does need to be done about illegal immigrants but that statement just ain't right and has no validity. since when have hispanics been associated with terrorist activities. equating both of them is just wrong. illegal immigrants actually contribute enormously to our economy by doing jobs most people refuse to do. i'm surprised no one's replied to that yet.
