Two times in as many weeks that people are getting apoplectic about how mean and unkind ATOTers to tran-xxxxx.

With that said, she likely has a condition called Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia that resulted in high androgen exposure in the womb leading to external male genitalia.

That's incorrect. Her condition is quite the opposite of AIS. AIS is a male(testes) with external female genitalia. Androgen exposure is required for the development of male external genitals. AIS means there is no androgen exposure present, hence the term insensitivity.

Interesting story about AIS - there's a player on the tennis team who's chromosomally male but externally female due to AIS. She was banned from playing on the women's team for that reason.
