I don't understand the judgement of some of you. Perhaps, he isn't part of the "omg tranny" brigade and likes her? And, even if she still had a penis, who cares? Omg! Michael Phelps might be gay! Who really gives a shit?

It would have been better had they not covered the story. It is getting tiring of western propaganda of transsexual acceptance. One example is Conchita Wurst's qualification into EuroVision song contest. It is a provocation against cultures that don't freely accept gender modification.

Yes, and Michael Phelps' disgusting taste in women should be open season for jokes. Just as if you said you wanted to bang a 5-2 300lb fattie, you'd receive the same ribbing from us. Shaming makes the genetic diversity of the gene pool stronger. There are scientifically proven universal standards of attraction and this woman, just like 300lber, does not qualify.

I'd say it's hard to say since she was born without the hormone-producing organs. Was it actually a penis or just a lot of extra skin? Does she have a prostate? I guess going with the latter could help determine that one.

Yeah, It looks like she identified as a male earlier in her life and switched to identifying as woman when she got older(Maybe teenage). It doesn't really say if she ever got surgery to firmly decide on one gender. She really isn't transgender in the normal sense when you get born with both genitals.

How about this: post a picture of your GF / wife and see what ribbing you get.

I am not against poking fun at people, but I am against doing it in a way that alienates people already struggling to fit in (and I'm not talking about people of below average intelligence that are good at swimming >_> ) and already face constant ridicule.

The article is incorrect and is attempting to shame someone for being intersex. That is beyond fucking stupid. Had the title been "Michael Phelps dates ugly person!" I'd be perfectly fine with it.
