Some fast shipping, got my XEON (Haswell i7) in the mail today, and voila! It works! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 And I ordered two new CM Hyper 212 EVO coolers for only $21 each, to take care of my standoff problem I mentioned....somewhere. Now I can start planning how to build up....oh, what should I call it.... "The Double Precision Beast (The DPB for short?)" with 6 AMD R9280X's. Or the Milkyway Master? Enigma's End? Einstein's Eulogy? The 1680? (280X 6 = 1680, get it? That's some high level math stuff right there!)

I prefer DPB because it's in line with your other fleet's name. 1680 is more like nvidia's next gen GPU (Ti version will come with at least eight 280X). Six 280X will definitely warm the room pretty well.

That NVidia Ti card will have the DP power of 8 280Xs?? Are you sure about that?

It's more likely that the Ti card will have a chip without the DP support which is available in Tesla's and Titan's GV100.
