haha me and my roomie went to GameStop last nite and picked up TopGun and busted out the NES... it was sweet...

favs:
Zelda
Tecmo Super Bowl
Ninja Gaiden
Super Dodge Ball (love that game to this day)
Mega Man 2
Mario 3
Metroid
Kid Icarus

Best $6 I ever spent: replacing the cartridge holder to fix the chronic "blink" problem of my old school NES.

Great games: Metroid, Zelda (II, particularly), all the Mario Bros, Castlevania I &II, Dr. Mario, Tetris (that damn music....)... there are too many to name.

Playing my old NES reminds me how great Nintendo can really be. And it shows on the GameCube as well: Metroid Prime, FZero GX, and Zelda:TWW are great.

Tecmo Super bowl - Bo Jackson rocks - Raiders got speed. 49Ers the best though.
Ice Hockey - Why I always get the penality when a fight starts? :disgust:
I got both punch out with and without Mike - Nice graphic for its time.
10 yard fight- everyone move together!

Did everyone do the slap the game around then blow on the contacts thing? I don't know how everyone happened to know how to do this but you see random people w/ NES's and when they get the blink problem everyone always takes the game out, slaps it a few times then blows on it...then puts it back in....

Ultima...that got me hooked on the PC Ultimas. Too bad 9 sucked.

Pirates rocked.

Best baseball game though : Baseball Stars. Make your own team! Upgrade the players! It was awesome.

River City Ransom
Best game EVAR!!

Pretty sure I owned at Punchout. I remember the guy that would spin in circles really fast and jab at you reach time he came around. And then there was the bull. If you swung just right, you could knock him the hell out during his bull charge!

werd. It truly does show on the Gamecube.....its a shame not more people have purchased one.

blasphemy to all the Emulator players! its not the same! nah, j/k, its a good way to capture one's past, but you kids never expierenced the struggle and frustration and finally the joy of shoving 2 cartridges into the console just so the game could play! i still have my nintendo, and every few months i get nostalgic and break it out again. "bah!" to buying the replacement strip so it doesnt blink, thats part of the whole expierence.

/me feels like an old man now ranting to kids on how easy they have it these days 😛

also remember track and field? where you bust out that mat and start running your ass off?? i swear, id be breaking a sweat, stomping on that thing, and my character would move like 2 steps. also, does anyone remember the Robot that was out for it also? the name slips my memory...Robbie?
