That does it, I'm going to have to get a NES off of eBay....thanks to all that posted!
Like I said earlier, consider getting an emulator. You can beat all those games you've never been able to beat before.

I still have an NES Action Pack brand new in the shrink wrap in my room. Contemplating opening it up.

the movie "the Wizard"!
AHHHH, the movie that was based mostly on my life....minus the mental instability. 😛
You were a big black truck driver named spanky?
No, I acted as the big brother in the movie who then had a string of jail sentences during the mid-90's involing: assault & battery, evading police, driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, and having a cocaine habit. just call me: slater. 😀

I still have my old nes, although i dont play it anymore... my parents do! They play tetris and dr mario everyday :Q

Metroid, Super Mario3 and as stated above, Zelda - gold cartridge.

To bad i don't have the machine anymore, couldn't use it now anyhow since I originally got it while we still lived in Venezuela and it was NTSC... here its all PAL.
I think its time to power up the emulator.

ROB = Robot Operating Buddy. 🙂

Nintendo ice hockey...arguably the best hockey video game ever. Simple and extremely competitive 🙂

I liked Double Dragon 2, Mario 3, and Contra best.

For God's sake, don't open it. Someday (soon probably judging by the interest in the NES), it will be worth several times that of a used NES.

Also, for anyone interested, there are ways to replace the backup battery in the save games like Zelda. First step is opening the cart, you need a tool that can be fabricated from a plastic ball-point with the pen part removed, placed over the security nut and heated until it slides over.

After that, everything should be self-explanatory. If not, take it to someone who understands electronics before you fry it. 🙂
