Fattie made a mistake, but Biker made an even bigger mistake. Drivers and bikers are a level above pedestrians when it comes to following traffic rules since their mistakes are more dangerous than pedestrians' mistakes.

Oh, and a few years ago I was almost ran over by an old lady driving a car the wrong way on a one-way street. I now look both ways before crossing a one-way street.

I love it. Both go there separate ways totally not bothered. I wish more folks were like this.

I don't mind bikers that follow the rules, the ones that piss me off just want to take advantage when it suits them, then use the crosswalks or sidewalks too. Around here they'll bitch about "sharing" the road, but then they don't signal and ignore lights, claiming it doesn't apply to them.

Luckily one is hit every few weeks, keeps the others in line for a while.

Happens all the time in Toronto. I've seen them cut cars off on busy streets. No idea what their problem is or why they feel the rules of the road don't apply to them. If this guy keeps riding like that, he's going to be a hood ornament for a Mack truck sooner or later.

His douchebaggery is worth some lulz. Still, this is why I think bikes should have to be plated.

I've accidentally gone down the wrong way of a one-way street because I thought it was the next street ahead already... my friends were like, "DUDE! TridenT! This is the wrong way!" "SHit!!! SHIT!" "THERE'S A COP RIGHT HTERE! OMFG... He probably thinks you're lost and crazy... thank god you have Washington license plates..." This was in Portland, the land of one-ways... :( My other friend in the car was lolin' the whole time.

Needless to say, the drive we had became far more epic. ;)

You seem far too joyous over your horrible driving, this is about the 4th thread I've seen you brag about your WTF driving skills. Your friends must have a death wish to ride in your car.

Nah, they enjoy the ride. ;)

It's exciting and adrenaline filled. Always on the brink of death but never in any danger

Not sure exactly what you classify as danger, but driving the wrong way down a 1 way street would rank very high on my danger list. I think by default being on the "brink of death" pretty much guarantees there's a hellova lot of danger involved.

Who films their rides around the city? Who would want to watch that? Now a helmet cam on a sweet mountain bike trail, that's cool. A helmet cam on a road bike around the city? LAME.

Anyone who's almost been run over on a bike or motorbike would. It's like a DVR or a patrol camera. You wouldn't have this documentation of the event without it and it is for just such things, though I doubt the idiot wanted documentation of his own illegal activity.

I like the biker's logic, NOT!
He's lucky he ran into somebody nice.

Agreed completely. That biker is a complete fuck.

That was not the kind of lulz I was hoping for. If I was that fat guy I would have punched that biker in the face. Although, It didn't look like the fat guy looked where he was going at all.

Well to the old man's credit, he was looking to his right, which is the direction traffic was coming from.......except for the douchebag on the bike.

lulz

And bikers wonder why they are hated. It's because douchenozzles like this give them a bad rap.

Pretty much sums up all the bad points on cyclists in one video! for the douchenozzles ref.

Meh, both are somewhat at fault but the pedestrian is the lesser of two evils since it's very likely everyone has or will have crossed a street without using the broadwalk some time in their lives. I think the old fat dude was nice about because the douche biker exerted his stance of dominance. Being knocked over by a bike might have also sent him into shock and embarrassment mode... some people would want to avoid becoming a spectacle so he just started walking away since he was ok.

This.

From the first instant of the vid, I was thinking wtf is this moron doing. I hope to see the next helmet cam of his encounter with a Mack Truck.

[troll]was the pedestrian an illegal alien? then it doesn't matter who was at fault, the pedestrian was here illegally and shouldn't have been in American anyway, if he would've stayed in his home country like he should have the bicyclist wouldn't have hit him.[/troll]
