Most of them I really like, but a few of them like the Black & Decker and Paypal logos I'm not very fond of.

Yeah overall I think most I like better- don't like Black and Decker, don't really like Olive garden...think there was one other that I didn't like

The old WWE logo looks much more macho.

The new Bacardi logo is nicer, makes it seem more premium.

I don't like the new Black and Decker logo although the old one kinda feels old and cheap, so maybe it's a good refresh.

New AirBnb font is much better, but their logo is stupid.

New Olive Garden logo makes the restaurant seem more casual, which I think is bad.

The old Florida State logo kinda looks like it's sucking on something, the new one is less mockable.

Don't really have strong feelings on the rest.

"Black & Decker's old logo used an ampersand to connect the names of the brand's two founders. Its new logo uses the trendier plus sign, instead. "

I really just hate everything about this.

Google completely ruined their logo imo. The dynamism and synergy between letters is totally lost now.

I've looked at it twice and still can't see a difference.

As for the rest, Florida State was the only one that stuck as "a good change" to me. Most of the rest look like they tried to turn them into an icon for a mobile phone App.

The firm they hired is genius. I can see it now after they came back from the presentation - "Holy crap, they bought it! Next time we'll go big and bold one letter."

Finally Illinois realized their students and alum couldn't spell their school\state name and went with something more appropriate for their IQ level

but a few of them like the Black & Decker and Paypal logos I'm not very fond of.

That one is terrible but maybe they realized the old one still had somblence of reliability attached to it and that didn't fit in with their product line anymore

I can't even use their sites anymore. Nothing but Bing and Windows mail for me from here on out

For the most part, older FSU fans absolutely hate the new logo and the younger ones are more accepting. As an older FSU fan myself, I don't think a change was needed but I can live with the new logo. The new uniform colors, however, are awful.

My take:

New: WWE, Airbnb, Foursquare, Reebok, Visa, FSU, Buccaneers, Morton Salt.

Old: Bacardi, Random House, PayPal, Black+Decker, Lipton, Cadillac, Olive Garden, Hotwire, Oxford Dictionaries, Illinois, Fandango.

Neither: Google, Inter Milan.

I LOL'ed because its so true.

My dad had a beast of an old B&D drill with a standard chuck, the new stuff is no where close to that. Their cordless stuff Ive tried was useless. (While their "premium" DeWalt products are OK enough) I do keep my B&D circular saw as a 2nd saw, it is no longer powerful enough for wood, but its OK with a diamond blade on it for the few occasions I need an abrasive blade.

Google's old logo is synonymous with the internet to many who use its products. Its new logo isn't much different (the 'g' and the 'l' have been moved ever so slightly to the right).

why?

I wonder how much the advertising agency/graphic artists got paid for that Morton Salt change... I mean it's REALLY gutsy and dramatic.
