Okay...Another even WEIRDER running experience today....**POLL**

so today i was running along and i was running across the designated crosswalk....this lady on a cell phone comes flying up to the stop sign and goes to far and hits me. she didnt hit me hard, but she bumped my and i fell over. the worst part about it was she started yelling AT ME through her window. i didnt even hear what she said, i was so damn mad i just kicked her door as hard as i could and left a nice fat dent. i continued on my way....

thoughts on my actions?

No, she is going to make a completely false story, how she was stopped at the stop sign and you started bothering her, and when she begged for you to stop (by yelling), you kicked her door and ran away. She will get some witness who will say, "Yeah I was working in my back yard and heard some yelling at such and such time".

but i got $100 says she is to scared to file a police report...thats pretty risky if you ask me considering she HIT a pedestrian...

Unless right after you kicked the door you yelled "My name is XXX XXX" I doubt you have to worry about anything.

yeah thats the other thing...i didnt recognize the lady. unless there was a witness that recognized me and told her. i didnt happen to see anyone around, but i cant be sure.

but yes, i think it would be in her best interests to keep her mouth shut.
monday when i go in for work ill tell the sheriff about what happened and get his opinion on what could happen :beer: working with the police has its advantages.

hahahahahahhahahah damn nice work man. Wouldn't have been good if it was just a kick, but you left expensive damage, makes up for what she did to you. Shoulda flicked her off as you left

 

That same type of thing happened to me last year. A friend and I were in the last mile of our 16 mile marathon training run and this guy pulls out RIGHT in front of us from the U of M hospital. He actually pulled out so fast and so close that I ran right into the side of his car at full speed.

I yelled, "What the FVCK!" as loud as I could and smacked the trunk of his car hard. He gave me a look, but I was mad enough (and hopped up on endorphins at the end of the run) that I probably would have fought him if he had confronted me.

 

It's her fault no matter what.

Yea, this reminds of something. Once me and my friend were going somewhere and we saw some guy with a new bimmer hit a kid on a bike and made him fall. He wasn't hurt very badly or anything, but we were standing there at the red light watchin this.......he was at a red light on a perpendicular road. So when the light turns green, we make a u-turn and go by the kid yelling "SUE HIM!" out loud. LOL!
