I'm returning back to school at the local community college and looks like it'll be a good semester.

CIS 1150 - Itro to computers - 3 hrs

Class is going to be a joke, but a pre-req for programming classes. I could test out, but might as well boost the GPA

Math 1431 - Precalculus - 5 hrs

Also fairly easy. I've taken so much math in my time that I should do well

History 1400 - US after 1865 - 3 hrs

Lots of reading, but once again not very hard.

Business 1100 - Intro - 3 hrs

My online class. 14 assignments and 7 tests at my own pace. Should be pie.

Econ 2201 - Macro - 3 hrs

This is the only class that I'm not sure of. My first econ class ever, but the teacher seems to think that most students do well.

17 credit hours total, and should be an easy 4.0 for my re-freshmen year. Better then last time's 1.4 GPA go around.

I started last Weds

Intro to Political Analysis
My 10th and final Poli Sci class, I put it off to last because it is all research and statistics. As for the class though I wouldnt know, we met last Weds and Fri, but this Mon and Weds, and possibly tomorrow the Professor has been sick. Great a week behind. However from the first two classes, this class is going to be easy but its going to be extremely boring.

Development of Economic Doctrines
Its going to be EASY, an Econ class without numbers or math(damn you Intermediate Microeconomics). The history of economic thought from the ancient world up until about Marx. Its a history class that have 4 essay exams and a bunch of quizzes which is right up my alley because I do better on short answer/essay exams than multiple choice.

Art Appreciation online
Piece of cake.

Spanish II
Well it is still pretty basic spanish, so should still be pretty easy.

Summer and Fall is all I have left.
Spanish III & IV, 2 more econ classes, 2 sophomore lit classes, and 2 jr/sr electives one of which that has be a humanities credit.

Just got 2. Transferred to a different school and only going part time due to work.

Net121B - Essentials of Networking - 4hrs
Just a basic Net+ class - is a Pre-req for the MS classes for my degree

Eng102 - Composition II - 4 hrs
Plain 'ol comp class

8 cred hrs. total.

CompII is an online class only going for 1/2 the quarter starting 2/14

Yay for not getting enough of the basic classes out of the way at my last school to avoid these.

HRD557 - Design Strategies: Not too bad, just lots and lots of work to find a problem, create a needs assessment, create the training program, and creating a budget. Luckily, I'm basing it off my work, so I can work on it at work. :)

HRD558 - Evaluation Strategies: Easy course that ties in directly with Design Strategies. Half online, half in class.

HRD511 - Special Topics: Haven't gone yet. It's one of those 'Once a month for 8 hours on Saturday' classes. Should be easy, and the instructor is the Director of HR for Y-12, so I get to make an excellent contact (part of my job is to staff engineers, and Y-12 would be an excellent client to have).

Edit: format

CSC 241 - 2nd level of Python programming. First part wasn't bad, got an A. This part seems harder, but I'm not sure by how much yet.

WRD 104 - "Composition and Rhetoric II," we basically work on one massive research paper over the whole quarter while being assigned smaller ones during it. Fun.

Calc II - Need I say more?

Then my fourth class is part of 2 sets of classes that are required for Freshman, did the first last quarter, and this time around I chose a "Focal Point" course about the Effects of Technology on Modern Culture. It's a very interesting class thus far.

ENG 287-MWF-805:855-Creative writing, fun, should be easy
MA241-MWF-910:1000-Calculus 2, pain in my ass
ECE109-TH-435:550-Intro to computing systems-stacks, LC3, C, logic, pretty tough
EC201-MWF-1015-1105-Microeconomics-should be easy

Then problem sessions for ECE and MA241.

13 hours, shouldn't be too bad.

Entomology is by far the class I'm enjoying the most. Plus we get to care for a Madagascar hissing cockroach for three weeks. We also got these neat wireless responder things for in class quizzes.

My other classes are Managerial Economics, Business Administration: Strategy and Integration, and Financial Management.

All are easy classes, but the worst is Managerial Economics, the teacher is very dull.

im starting my first semester at a community college with the following:
BUS 110 - Intro to Business - 3 hrs
Lots of memorization of terms, its going to be a bitch, and the teacher is lousy. the final project *might* be interesting

NOS 110 - OS Concepts - 3 hrs
Im familiar with most of the material already, its mostly going to be boring boring boring 5 days a week. No final, just 5 tests.

ENG 111 - Expository Writing - 3hrs
The teacher is easy to get along with and Id do well to learn how to write decently. I expect to spend some time on it, but do well.

WEB 110 - Web Fundamentals - 3hrs
After a very bfief introduction to the internet, we'll be doing xhtml and later javascript to build a web page. Ive dabbled with it before, shouldnt be too bad. The final is a web page requiring this and that and the other.

ACA 111 - Student Success - 1hr
Required for all students to familiarize themselves with the campus and available services, as well as go over some study habits and the like. Only lasts half the semester.

CIS 110 - Intro to Computers - 3hrs
Exclusively online (most of the others are hybrids). I expect it to be mostly boring. First assignment is to formulate a backup plan, and describe it in 350 words or *more* (wtf?).

350 words to say "backup personal documents and configs to a lan server and a flash drive on a weekly basis" This one will be a blast :(

16 hours. Going for network technology. Ill have classes Im actually interested in next semester (routing, switching, *nix user/admin), maybe even during the summer depending on whats available.

Most classes have some material/quizzes/homework/testing online (ENG 111 is the sole exception) so Im not actually *at school* too much during the day.

Haven't Started yet, but here's what I'm looking at in 1&1/2 weeks:

CHE 326-Organic Chem II: Should be easier that my first semester of Orgo, which wasn't too bas to begin with. Same professor so an A/A- would get me a nice letter of recommendation.

CHE 134-Chem Lab II: One credit Lab; cake.

BIO 315-Microbiology: Looking forward to learning some molecular biology in here. Heard the professor is good too.

MAT 126-Calculus B: If I put in my time I should do well; Probably my 2nd most time involving class.

EGL 218-American Literature from 1865-1914: Looking forward to some good books and an easy A.

CHE/BIO - 487: Hopefully I'll get a position in a lab for independent research, either in computational Chemistry or Biochemistry. Still in the process of contacting professors.

Should be a fair semester, I'm looking forward to it.

POL 372 Chicano/a and Latino/a Politics
Lame.. professors wants us to blog, and do other unconventional stuff.

POL 102 Introduction to Comparative Politics
Also lame.. teacher is teaching us how to research politics. For Freshman (I'm a senior).

POL 314 National States and Global Challenges
Interesting, professor is in his last semester and really knows his stuff. Unfortunately he goes off on stories about himself a lot.

POL 400 Political Science Issues
My one-handed professor is teaching us about minor parties and their role in foreign systems and in ours. Good class.

Overall the requirements are the same, a research paper each of 7-10 pages and a couple of others of 2-3 pages. The mid-terms and final. Easy enough.

Fortunately, my classes are WAAAAAAAY easier than those most of you are taking...:D

Changed my major this semester from Architecture/Drafting to Business Management/Accounting/Bookkeeping
Bookkeeping 1...TOUGH instructor, have our first test next week, moves pretty fast and doesn't like to explain things if someone doesn't understand. So far, ZERO sense of humor.

Business Math (Math 50)...More or less a rehash of "general math" with business applications, percentages, payments schedules, and such. Good instructor. GREAT sense of humor.

Business Law...I had this instructor last semester for Principles of Management. Good instructor, but gives HELL tests. (always allow 3+ hours for the test) BUT, they're open book/open notes, so they're not too bad IF you read/notate your text. Decent sense of humor.

Intro to Environmental Science...Pushed on my by my advisor as "an easy "A", so far, this instructor doesn't seem so easy...pop quizzes every class meeting so far, but he has a decent (but dry) sense of humor, so it should be ok.

Taking the Math 50 class meets the AS degree requirements, but is NOT transferrable to the university level if I decide to do so. The last math class I took was algebra in high school, (1968) and I blew that class off more often than not, so needless to say, I didn't do well. I'm not so sure they haven't changed some of the numbers since then...;) IF I someday decide I want to go on to get a BS, I'll have to take quite a bit of math to do so...:( IIRC, Math 101 is the minimum entry requirement for the UC/CSU systems...and that's so far above my head it might as well be written in Mandarin...

fixed my errer...

Classes started exactly a week ago.

Physics 2 Electromagnetism - Going to blow, but good prof.
Chem 2 - Stupid.
Calc 2 - Horrid.
Digital Design - Started out pretty boring as an overview, but since we're getting into things it's starting to get good.

I haven't actually started classes yet (we start next Tuesday), but here are my predictions for courses this semester.

Course numbers included for Berkeley people:

EE121 - Intro to Digital Communication Systems - I've heard it's difficult, but it's just a problem set course so it shouldn't be too bad.
EE231 - Solid State Devices - A medium difficulty graduate course. Includes a project that could be difficult, but nothing crazy hard.
EE225b - Digital Image Processing - Should be relatively easy. No exams, just homework and projects.
Philosophy 133 - Philosophy of Language - Probably medium difficulty, but I'm taking it P/NP so it should be easy as a result. Professor is supposed to be good.

I'm also a TA again (~15 hr/week) and picked up a ~10 hr/week project on the side, which rounds out my schedule.

CEE162 - environmental chemistry, easy
CEE168 - pollution prevention and control - easy
ESS 134 - GIS, easy
Music 78A - history of jazz, easy

engineering is easy once you're 3 years in =)

All my classes are laughably easy, but thats what one might expect given that I don't need a single one to graduate and am just biding my time until graduation in May. So basically I am taking 4 fun classes and already have a job lined up upon gradiation, so maybe try to get a woman now or something instead of doing so much school work :p.

CIS 110 - Intro to Computers - 3hrs
Exclusively online

and

RAD 131 Radiographic Physics - Shouldn't be too hard, but we'll see.
RTT 151 RTT Clinical Ed I - My first two 8-week clinical rotations. I am nervous and anxious about starting. It should be challenging but in a good way, hopefully I have a good time and learn a lot.

Try school and work at the same time. All of the bad, none of the good.

MGMT 409 - Project management for engineers. Blech. 3 50min classes, no lab.

MET 331W - Heat Transfer, a 4-credit follow-up to Thermodynamics. 3 50min classes plus 2hr lab.

MET 341 - something to do with measurement. I don't actually remember the course title. 2 50min classes plus 2hr lab.

MET 306 - CAD systems. I've already had two courses that deal with Pro/ENGINEER. This one gets even more advanced, and delves into other CAD programs as well. 2 50min classes plus 3hr lab.

MET 415 - Finite Element Analysis, using ANSYS. 2 50min classes plus 3hr lab.

That would be impossible with my current job.
