Dear lord, have a real woman come onto the forum and do one introductory post and it explodes in no time. It went from a barrel of TNT at first when she posted she was female to atomic bomb level when she posted pics.

Yes, there's certainly some truth to that.

Another part of it is that the forum is mostly men, and men think that it's funny to conform to stereotypes. If you tell a woman a joke about how women should be in the kitchen, they'll get insulted. If you tell a man a joke about how all they do is sit on the couch, drink beer and watch TV, they'll laugh heartily and start doing it.

Just look at beer commercials...half the popular/funny beer commercials have men acting totally stereotypically. That would NEVER fly if they were trying to sell to women.

hey Mojoed, why did your mother do that? that is a pretty messed up thing to do. can't say as i have EVER heard of a mother giving a daughter maxi-pads for her birthday to be opened in front of her friends.
